Confidence in the Menopause

Ms Neal has completed specialist training through the Newson Health Menopause & Wellbeing Health Centre and now holds the certificate ‘Confidence in the Menopause’. This includes detailed knowledge of the latest research and treatments of genitourinary syndrome of menopause which will be of great help to many of her female patients.

Uromune® vaccine

Ms Neal can now offer Uromune® vaccine for suitable male and female patients with recurrent UTIs. This UTI vaccine contains inactivated versions of the 4 most common UTI-causing bacteria (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris and Enterococcus faecalis). Taken as a daily under-the-tongue spray for 3 months it can be used as an alternative to antibiotics with the aim of reducing the risk of UTIs.
